Since 1953, Scribes has promoted a clear, succinct, and forceful style in legal writing through its publications, programs, and awards. We currently publish the Journal of Legal Writing and our newsletter, The Scrivener; offer CLE and other programs in partnership with various legal organizations; and annually award Book, Brief, Law-Review, and Lifetime-Achievement Awards to deserving law students and members of the legal community.
